School of Pharmacy
Whilst at University I had the opportunity to pitch to re-brand the Lincoln School of Pharmacy. From the outset the school made it very clear that the outcome must not fall into the well-recognised symbols of medicine such as the Caduceus or the pestle and mortar. To communicate the practices of the school I chose to incorporate a test tube, the central point of discovery in
modern medicine. I combined the powerful image of the test tube with Lincoln’s most recognisable landmark which is the Lincoln Cathedral. The test tube nestled by the cathedral communicates the school’s medical breakthroughs occurring within Lincoln. The pitch was excepted and I won the competition brief.
